Aruba is one of the most popular timeshare destinations in the world, with almost 40% of
it's overall hotel suites consisting of timeshare units. The popularity of timeshare
in Aruba bears clear testimony to the many positive aspects of the island, which make
visitors feel at home year after year.
Opening in 1977, Aruba's first timeshare property was the Aruba Beach Club and holds
the distinction of being the first timeshare resort in the Caribbean,
and is listed with the timeshare exchange company of RCI as number eight among the over
6,000 timeshare resorts that are currently featured as part of the RCI worldwide exchange program.
Aruba counts over 3,000 timeshare rooms, offering a range of
accommodations, including studios, one, two and three-bedroom units and penthouses. In
addition to all the other services normally associated with regular resorts,
timeshare properties also rent suites in the same fashion as the regular resorts but add the
convenience of fully equipped kitchen facilities.

This small timeshare property is across the road from Eagle Beach.
The atmosphere at the two five-floor buildings is sedate. All units boast large balconies.
The furnishings are tropical, lots of bamboo, pink tile, and floral prints. All units
have a kitchenette, and two-bedroom deluxe units have a loft bedroom. The deluxe building's
suites are smaller but they're closer to the beach. A small parking lot separates the
deluxe units from the more expensive executive building, where suites have nicer kitchens.
The pool in the executive complex is also much larger than the one in front. For those
looking for a touch of luxury, some of the one-bedroom executive suites have a balcony Jacuzzi.
